NYFW'13: boy! how good was she.
If you have been keeping up to date with the NYFW coverage its hard to miss that luxurious furs, neck and collar attention, holographic accessorising and busy prints are key to suceeding on-trend dressing for Fall'13.
Designers had fun with fur, featuring patterned designs and bold colours.

All focus was on the neck. High-rise necklines, scarfs and pronounced collars added strength to looks.

Holographic obssession! Designers can't get enough of this new trend which has taken great flight. Holographic garments and accessories are a must, taking any outfit to next level territory. Loving the marriage between holographic accessories and earthy tones. A must do.

Now with all these amazing collections that showcased at NYFW, it's hard to compose a list of my favourites. But I must admit that I'm absolutely crushing over, as expected, Rachel Zoe's Fall'13 collection! Belonging to my "top five people of all time list" you may think I'm being a little bias, but hey! Have a look at the collection: amazing. She's the boss of all things style and she knows exactly how a women should dress. And yes in saying that I guess she should, it's her job but how good is she! Her fall'13 collection is based on a neutral palate consisting of browns, greys and whites and tailoring is evident throughout all the looks uplifting the glam factor of the collection. Styling was spot on: the loosely pulled back ponies, dark lippy and those killer full brimmed hats are so on key for fall. Also, I'm firm believer in a good knit and that oversized cream turtle neck is knit perfection. Zoe has done it again.
The label BCBGMAXAZRIA was another of my favourites, amazing all with their Fall collection. Compromising of very bold looks, the collection oosed the much loved attitude and style of NYC. All focus was on layering and the use of long pieces, prints and shapes giving very strong cool looks. Absoultely in love with the print of this first white look shown. Max Azria knows how to make wearing excessive amounts of clothing look so chic.
