Christmas is so so close and many of us are definitely heading into that frantic left-gift-shopping-to-the-last-minute rush, which we are almost too good at doing. So i thought i would share a cute gift idea that does require some crafty work and love: Beaded Wrist Wraps! (also makes a cute anklet). My Mother, Sister and I often make them especially around Christmas time as they make the perfect gift for friends and family and are super easy to make.
You'll need:
-Black Leather Cord
-Beads of your choice
-Crimpers and Clasps (plus pliers/crimp tool)
First, measure the leather cord by wrapping around wrist (or ankle) to the desired no of wraps or length. It is important to note that you'll be tying small knots to hold the beads in place, therefore extend the total length of the cord so the finished product doesn't ended up being to small when put on. Attach a clasp to one end and crimp to hold in place. Then basically start threading beads on, beginning and ending with a knot to hold the beads in position. Finish by attaching the ending clasp to the end of the wrap.
Hope you find these a great gift idea!
